Potty training

I hate potty training. Olivia and Damien are both potty trained so now I am working with Kyra. She has gone in the potty a lot but she won't tell me when she needs to go. Right now I am working with bribing her with stickers. She loves stickers but so far nothing. She wants to wear underwear but she pees in them so I am reluctant. I should just bite the bullet, prepare for the puddles and go for it. We'll see if I get that brave.

Update.

I just wanted to give an update on my crazy life.
First things first. Damien has had all his dental work finished. We are so happy that is done. He had a pretty sore mouth and now he is really happy and smiles all the time. He is feeling better and eating well. After he had his teeth done, two days later we went to the Pediatrician and got 5 shots for immunizations. That poor kid. He is a real tough kid though. He is picking up English and I know he is so happy to be part of a loving family. His best friend is his sister Olivia and he is obsessed with cars. We almost have all the paper work completed to get him sealed to us in the temple. We are hoping we can do that in November. I will be relieved when that is completed.
Olivia is doing really well. She loves preschool and learning her numbers and letters. He is a really good big sister. She is getting so big and I can't believe how mature she is for so little. She wants us to go back to Ethiopia and get her another brother.
Kyra is such a happy girl. We laugh at her antidotes all the time. She and Damien have their little battles but over all they are a great pair. Kyra is a momma's girl and has a hard time sharing me with her siblings but she is learning. If only her hair would grow.
JC and I are doing well. We are hoping that we will be able to buy a house next year, but only time will tell. I am finally back to my pre-pregnancy weight so things are going well. I love being home with my kids and can't wait for more.

Another update.
If you don't know, I got assaulted in Salt Lake by my in-laws neighbor. I filed charges against her and she filed trespassing against me. There is no proof of the trespassing so the judge pretty much said there would be no charges. I have to go back to Salt Lake to tie up the loose ends. The neighbor on the other hand will have charges since we got the marks she left on me recorded. I am looking forward to seeing the end of this. I will let you know when it all comes to pass.

My Wonderful Husband

I have to brag about my wonderful husband JC. He is such a hard worker and such a great dad and husband. Right now he is in Ogden Utah working for the railroad. He might be gone for 1 day or 2 months we don't know. He is there while we are here and don't know when we will see him again. He works so hard so I can be home with our 3 kids and that is such a blessing. It is hard being without him, but I have to remember he is by himself and that isn't easy either. I love my husband.

Monkey see Monkey do

I have really noticed a few things since coming home with our son. He doesn't even speak our language and yet he can tattle just like Olivia and Kyra. He even does the whiney voice and makes sure you know he is catching one of his siblings doing something bad. I now have 3 tattle tales and sometimes it can really grade on your nerves.
The second thing is all tantrums are the same. Whether your from America or Ethiopia the screaming and pouting in universal.
The third thing is all kids just want to be hugged and kissed and told that they are loved. Damien loves to cuddle and be hugged. Yesterday I didn't feel well and was laying on the couch. The kids were fighting over who would get to snuggle me. It is times like this that remind me why I love my kids and want more. What a blessing they are to me.
The fourth thing is they are all sneaky. If one sneaks a cookie, the other two have to also. It's not like I don't know what they are doing.
All in all, no matter where kids are from or the language they speak, they are all the same.
