Happy Birthday JC!!

Well, today is my sweethearts 28th birthday. We can't really celebrate with him in Oregon. The kids would love to I am sure, but singing "Happy birthday" to no one is really something I will let the crazies go ahead and do. Here are 10 things I love about my husband.
1. He makes me laugh. Not just a chuckle, but so hard my sides hurt and I cry.
2. He makes me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world. Hokey I know but true.
3. He is an amazing father. I love to watch him with the kids.
4. He is not selffish. He will come home from work and give me time to myself.
5. He watches chick flicks even when they are so sappy I want to hurl. What a guy.
6. He puts the family before himself. He is in Oregon working hard so I can be a full-time mom.
7. He never complains about the house being a mess.
8. He DOES THE DISHES!!! Anyone who know me knows I hate dishes. This is Huge.
9. He holds the priesthood.
10. He is the love of my life and I get to spend eternity with him. How lucky am I. I think pretty lucky.
JC I hope you have a good birthday and I promise you a party when you get home. We all love you and can't wait until you get to come home.

The Yardwork from DOOM!!

I have really been enjoying this sunny weather. It has been so nice to get outside, see the butterflies, see the flowers and notice all the yardwork that I need to accomplish to get out of ghetto standard. There is so much that I don't think I will be exiting this status for years to come. I don't know what is was with the people who lived here but junk was their middle name. There are just miscellaneous piles of junk all over. They made piles on existing plants so the plants have grown through them and in come cases swallowed them up until you don't know they exist until you try to rip out the plants and suddenly you was enveloped into a world you didn't know was there. That has been the story of my new yard. I am trying to get it under control but I can't even get into all the junk. My friends come over and I give them a tour and they laugh because they didn't realize that I wasn't joking when I told them about it. On a good note I did get one new door on the house. If you didn't know, the person who "fixed" this house put interior doors for the outside doors and the doors warped so I couldn't close one of them. We got that one fixed, so only one left. I also planted a few flowers, you acn't see them in the picture but I wanted people to know that I am trying to get rid of the eyesore that is our yard. SO many projects, maybe I will enlist the young men and women to come for a service project. This would help me and the community. :) It's win win all the way around.
